History
Northside Baptist Church constituted as a church on Feb. 15, 1987. Norm Ellyson was the founding pastor, serving until his retirement in 2002. In 1988, the church purchased property and began the process leading to the construction of the church’s present facility. Services were held at the Oddfellows Hall and the Minnehaha Grange Hall until the new facility was available in 1993.
Our current pastor, Tim Crownover, came to Northside in July, 2002 from fourteen years of service as pastor in two churches in Oregon and Idaho. In the years since, the church has renewed significantly its commitment to evangelism, prayer, cooperation, and service within the local community. We have a number of community partnerships with schools, nursing homes, and various Christian ministries through which we seek to improve our community and communicate God's love and forgiveness.
If you are looking for a church, we'd enjoy walking with you as you seek out and discover God's plan for your life. Whether it is at Northside or another Bible believing church in the area, we know God has a place for you among his people.
