Team Ministry Mission & Vision


Promotion of God's Kingdom: In accordance with Scripture, only the Kingdom of God is eternal. Therefore, in seeking His Kingdom, we will discard all personal agendas and work to glorify God alone. (Matthew 6:33)

Multiplicity of Leadership: In accordance with Scripture, there is good return for the work of many. Therefore, multiple leaders, under the spiritual guidance of the Senior Pastor, are needed to implement a breadth and depth of ministries that include all members in areas of service. (1 Peter 5:2-3, 2 Timothy 2:2)

Every church member is a minister: In accordance with Scripture we are a priesthood of believers, with no distinction between clergy and laity. We purpose to train and encourage every believer and to send them into specific ministry responsibilities. (1 Peter 4:10)

Spiritual gifts: In accordance with Scripture every believer is spiritually gifted for the building up of the church. Therefore we will strive to identify, cultivate, and apply our gifts according to God.s call. (1 Corinthians 12:4-8, Romans 12:3-8)

Cooperation: In accordance with Scripture, we are dependent within and between teams. Therefore, we will freely share all resources to fulfill our common mission. (Romans 12:4-5, 1 Corinthians 12:20-26)

Ministry Initiative: In accordance with Scripture, it is impossible to please God without faith. Therefore, working within the freedoms and restraints of the Holy Spirit, we encourage initiative and risk taking within leadership teams.

Ministry Evaluation: In accordance with Scripture, God supplies the ends, while we are obedient in the means. Therefore we will strive for excellence through honesty, integrity, compassion, accountability and loyalty. Further, we will continually evaluate processes and results to maintain relevance and effectiveness.

Sunday School Team
To facilitate open Bible Study groups that engage people in personal evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and worship.

Discipleship Team
To equip believers to be disciple makers through mentoring and Bible Study.

Worship Team
To facilitate the growth of believers as worshipers of God within the Body of Christ.

Missions Team
To equip believer to extend the reach of the gospel locally, regionally, and internationally.

Stewardship Team
To lead and oversee the application of biblical stewardship as it relates to our time, talents, and resources.
